- Documents you upload — Files you upload to your projects for AI-assisted research and study.
- Conversations — Questions you ask and responses generated within your projects.
- Usage data — Basic analytics like page visits and feature usage to improve the platform. No personal browsing is tracked.
How We Protect Your Data
Encrypted at rest and in transit
All your documents and data are encrypted using industry-standard AES-256 encryption when stored, and all connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption.
Your projects are private by default
Only you can see your projects and documents. If you choose to share a project, only the people you explicitly invite will have access.
Passwords are securely hashed
We never store your password in readable form. It is hashed using strong cryptographic algorithms before being saved.
AI and Your Data
- Your documents are never used to train AI models. When you ask a question, only the relevant portions of your documents are sent to generate an answer — nothing more.
- AI-generated responses are based solely on the content you provide. Your data is not mixed with other users' data.
- We do not sell, license, or share your documents or conversations with any third party.
Payment Security
All payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We never store your credit card, debit card, or UPI details on our servers. Your financial information goes directly to Razorpay and is never accessible to us.
Your Rights and Control
- Access your data — You can view and download your documents and conversations at any time.
- Delete your data — You can delete individual projects, documents, or your entire account. When you delete something, it is permanently removed from our systems.
- Cancel anytime — You can cancel your subscription at any time from your profile. You will continue to have access until the end of your billing period.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We use Google Analytics to understand how the platform is used — this data is anonymous and aggregated. We do not use advertising cookies or trackers.
Where Your Data is Stored
Your data is stored on secure, access-controlled servers. All storage infrastructure uses encryption and strict access policies. Only authorized systems can access your data — no human at SWAA Life reads your documents or conversations.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or a notice on the platform. Your continued use of Veda after changes means you accept the updated policy.
